An Introduction: The Dispensary of Hope Blog

What do you do with 20 million dollars worth of medications?  Give them away to tens of thousands of uninsured people!

Our organization, The Dispensary of Hope, is a not-for-profit network of dispensing sites, sourcing partners and financial partners that assist people without prescription drug coverage. We collect and distribute medication from a variety of sources including: physicians’ offices, distributors and manufactures that send us their medications and excess inventory.

Of course, we’re in existence to help people, but there are underlying issues in our healthcare system. We established this blog to discuss the issues and give an insider’s perspective on the industry.

The Dispensary of Hope Team Members have their fingers on the pulse of these issues and trends.  A brief introduction….

  • Dan Simpson, Director of Business Development, will be blogging every Monday on provider solutions and healthcare policy.
  • Tim Lance, Distribution Manager, will post every Tuesday on the challenges and successes within the Dispensary of Hope model, and innovations in the distribution of medications industry.
  • Victoria Jones and Catherine Clinkscales, Physician Partnership Managers, know all about the physician community and excess sample medications. Check out their posts every Wednesday.
  • Julie Chupp, Operations Manager, is our expert on clinics across the country and in the Dispensary network. New posts from Julie will occur every Thursday.

And then, there’s me. You’ll hear from me every Friday on healthcare trends affecting the uninsured.
We hope you enjoy our blog, and we’re looking forward to talking to you!
